GAMBLOR – ROUND EIGHTEEN

St Kilda vs Richmond

Docklands

Friday 7.50pm EST

Richmond by 43 points (108-65)

No value = No Bet

Collingwood vs North Melbourne

MCG

Saturday 1.45pm EST

North by 10 points (87-77)

North seem the value here although I would be much more confident if that game was at Docklands…which it’s not….but still think they are a good price.

North 1-39 @ $3.00

North at the line (+12.5) @ $1.91

Sydney vs Gold Coast

SCG

Saturday 2.10pm EST

Now this could get ugly

Sydney by 63 points (109-46)

No value hence No Bet

Essendon vs Fremantle

Docklands

Saturday 4.35pm EST

Bombers seem to be flying while the Dockers, in spite of the cattle they are missing are going quite well themselves. Keen enough on Essendon but again, not a heap of value to be had here…

Essendon by 38 points (98-61)

Essendon at the line (-32.5) could be an option but not playing hard here.

Brisbane vs Adelaide

GABBA

Saturday 7.25pm EST

Two high scoring teams high on confidence are going at it here. If this was a day game I’d be smashing the total score OVER market but the night condition temper my enthusiasm a touch. I’ll still be betting but using smaller denominations.

Adelaide by 19 points (107-88)

Total Points > 180 @ $2.10

Geelong vs Melbourne

Kardinia Park

Saturday 7.25pm EST

We have been burned by the Demons in the past when we thought they have turned the corner so GAMBLOR is in no mad rush to be jumping in on them here. Cats are very hot and cold but thought they went down in a pretty high standard game on Thursday night. Home ground advantage should get them over the line but for fear of repeating myself, no real value here.

Geelong by 17 points (88-71)

Geelong 1-39 @ $2.25 seems a good bet

Carlton vs Hawthorn

Docklands

Sunday 1.10pm EST

Hawthorn are no good and GAMBLOR was filthy with himself for getting sucked in last week. Rule No.1: Never bet big on ordinary sides, no matter how good the match-up / set-up looks. We broke Rule No.1 last weekend. I’m sure they will win big here and there sees no light at the seemingly endless tunnel at Lygon St but won’t be investing too much here. If anything Carlton are WORSE at Docklands than anywhere else….and they are pretty bad anywhere else…

Hawthorn by 46 points (105-59)

No Bet

West Coast vs Western Bulldogs

Perth Stadium

Sunday 3.20pm EST

Super win for West Coast the the MCG (You read right! The MCG!!!) but sadly it’s offset by the loss of Nic Nat. Shouldn’t impact here as the Bulldogs are allergic to selecting ruckman but will no doubt bite at the pointy end of the season. The forward line is now fully fit & firing while Hurn & McGovern run the show down back. Early forecast looks bleak so expect a low scoring affair.

West Coast by 34 points (81-47)

Total Score UNDER 150 @ $2.35

Total Score UNDER 140 @ $3.10

Total Score UNDER 130 @ $4.65

…and do a rain dance!!!!!

Port Adelaide vs GWS

Adelaide Oval

Sunday 4.40pm EST

Power likely to be without Robbie Gray & Paddy Ryder who you would could argue, are their two most important players and are running into a GWS side maybe playing their best footy for 2018. Sure they will be improved at home but can’t help but feel the Giants are a touch of value here. Loathe to be super trusting of them though, even if they made us money on the weekend…

GWS by 11 points (89-78)

Either side by < 15.5 @ $2.55

GWS 1-39 @ $2.45

Best Bet

Geelong 1-39 vs Melbourne @ $2.35 seems a good price

WCE vs WB – Total Score @ 150 @ $2.35

Best Value

North Melbourne 1-39 @ $3

Multi

Rich / Geel / Adel / WCE – @ $3.40
