GAMBLOR – Round 16

Posted on Posted in Gamblor

Gamblor is filthy beyond words and his filth his aimed straight at the weak as p1ss Gold Coast Suns. If you followed Gamblors 9 leg $205 return for $1 invested multi last week, you will know exactly what Gamblor is referring to.

Up by 26 points at 3/4 time, Gamblor wasn’t even fussed if they won. As long as they lost by < 10 points. Needless to say the Suns ran out of juice (or coke or whatever) and lost by 22. This was the only leg that fell over. #distraught

Other than that it was a pretty good week for us with the 2 Good Things both saulting as well as 2/3 of the Right Price bets with the Pies narrow loss killing off the other investments.

This week doesn’t appeal quite as much as there doesn’t seem to be much value which means we have had to look at other sports that are kicking off tonight (Thursday) for us to get a return.

North Melbourne to beat Essendon by 15+ @ $1.55

Geelong to beat Western Bulldogs (H2H) @ $1.68

British Open Investments

Gamblor loves watching the British Open which kicks off later tonight (Thursday night) and it is a lot more entertaining when you ahev a few Drachmas on the line. had a bit of success ove rthe years with the Open Championship so here are a few players that are good value. (NOTE: Love Jordan Speith but he is just too short for mine…)

Favourites

Dustin Johnson $12

Henrik Stenson $16

Louis Oosthuizen $21

Each Way

Brendan Grace $51 ($9 to make the top 5  & $2.50 to make top 20 are also super investmenst)

Roughie

Joost Luiten $101

2nd Ashes Test

We really missed out on the 1st Test with England as much as $4.25 before the toss being massive value and duly saluted. You won’t be seeing that price anymore but cannot work out for the life of me why Australia are favourites here. Not saying they can’t win of course, but the Aussies were clearly outplayed in all 3 facets of the game in the 1st Test in Cardiff and with Watson axed (finally some might say) Haddin out, no Harris and Starc under an injury cloud it’s not exactly a settled line up. The best bet here is to probably lay the draw as the weather looks good for the next 5 days in London (other than maybe a little dodgy on day one)

Some Fun Bets:                Michael Clarke to make 50 in the 1st Innings @ $2.80

1st Ball of the test to be a dot Ball @ $1.30

Michael Clark to make > 28.5 runs in the 1st Innings @ $1.85

Ben Stokes to make < 25.5 runs in the 1st innings @ $1.85

Fall of 1st English wicket will be with the score < 27.5 @ $1.85

Random Sporting Multi:

Louis Oosthuizen to finish top 20 in the British Open (2.00) / 1st Ball of the 2nd Ashes test to be a dot ball ($1.30) / 1st dismissal of 2nd Ashes test to be caught ($1.60) / Michael Clark to make > 28.5 runs in 1st Innings ($1.85) @ $7.70
