GAMBLOR – Round 10

Posted on Posted in Gamblor

Gamblor had a solid weekend with his multi and a couple of selections saluting but this is another week and I must admit to the confidence scale being at an all time high for this weekend. Value galore!!!

With that said, lets get into it:

Hawthorn at the line (-49.5) vs St Kilda @ $1.90                4 units

The Hawks on top of the ground at Etihad will rack up a cricket score (an Australian one, not a West Indian or English one) against the Saints who have made a number of changes coming back from the win in Brisbane. Couldn’t find odds for highest score of thr round but get on Hawthron for that too. They will win by 60+. Bet with confidence here as this will get ugly quickly.

Essendon to beat Geelong (H2H) @ $2.15 –                         3 units

The Bombers have been close in many games and have cost themselves wins rather than being completely outplayed. The Watson out impacts the market but (no offence) the way he has been playing, he is no great loss. Also, the Cats are not purring and with Clark missing, that forward line will struggle against Hooker, Hurley & Co. If Daniher & (God forbid) Carlisle can stand up and kick a few, they should win this and at $2.15 are great value in my humble…

Nth Melbourne to beat WCE (H2H) @ $2.35 –                    1.5 units

I know what you are saying. I can hear you from here. “Gamblor!!!! You always say, don’t back crap, unreliable teams! Stick with the teams that you can rely on for a solid, consistant effort for 4 quarters”. But Gamblor can’t resist value and the Kangas in a 50/50 game at $2.35 cannot and will not be ignored. The fact that Brad Scott is missing I’m taking as a positive as new man Crocker might actually make a move during the game rather than waiting until the game is over to change things up. #thatisadig. WCE have been great but are surely over-performing and traditionally don’t go greta in Tassie. Gamblor is a confident as you ever can be in this Kangas line up. Don’t pur your rnt money on though :) #gambleresponsibly

Melbourne at the line (+28.5) vs Colligwood @ $1.90 –  0.75 unit

Aside from the odd (and substantial) brain-fade, the Dees are actually going okay and have aforward line that can kick a winning score when they see enough of the footy. And the Pies are a team that are clearly over-performing and are due a crash (as we have seen from other young teams GWS, WB et al). While I’m not saying the Dees will be winning, they will give the Pies a much bigger shake than most think and feel the line is a generous one.

Richmond at the line (+32.5) vs Fremantle –                        0.75 unit

Gamblor’s belved Tigers are a new team since the return of Brett Deledio and with him, Cotch, Martin, Edwards & Maric all fit and firing, they are a threat against anyone. Unfortunatley for them they run head on into the jugganuaght that is the undeafted Fremantle. Freo coming off a six day break and a bruising encounter in Adelaide could be vunerbale. Again, as with the prevoius game, I am not saying Richmond will definetely be winning but they will give the Dockers a real shake.
